OOTD: The Pearl Coat | teacups and tealights

Feeling glamorous is quite important to me. I don't know why but specifically over the past year, it has been an indulgent of mine. A few blog posts ago (a new measurement of time), I wrote about Collectif's Pearl Coat and how it was simply the coat of my dreams. My boyfriend only went and bought it for me a few weeks ago! *huge happy face*. He knew how much I loved it and thought it suited me...oh and I hinted just a little bit. It seems he couldn't wait until Christmas as it has been mine since the 31st October.

I have been wearing it often over the last week or so but earlier today I wanted to photograph it with these beautiful gloves. I found them whilst sorting through my late grandmas house. I'm an extremely sentimental person so I adopted a few of her things to always keep close.

I think they go so well with the coat. I might have been meant to find them!

Collectif A/W '15 Launch Party Brighton | teacups and tealights

Collectif party in Brighton? Don't mind if I do!

I was excited about this party as soon as Collectif posted their plans on Facebook. Three parties to celebrate their new Autumn/Winter 2015 collection, one in their Spitalfields Market store, the second in their Brighton Bond Street store and the last in Camden Market.

I was sold on the idea immediately as I love the brand so much, but with free bubbly, singers and vintage hair styling... how could I not go?

So I have fallen in love... | teacups and tealights

I met the coat of my dreams a few days ago.

Oh my goodness I love it so much. It was during a spontaneous trip to Brighton with a dear friend of mine from secondary school. She happens to know the Brighton Laines like the back of her hand (I am not so fortunate) so shopping around that area with her is a brilliant experience. We started in Bond Street where I spied the 'Collectif Clothing' shop sign.

Addition to the Handbag Family! | teacups and tealights

I recently received a belated 18th birthday present from my Auntie, who I rarely get to see as she lives far away from me. This means that we don't get a lot of time to talk about the things we love so buying presents for each other is pretty tricky. Despite this, I completely and utterly loved it! It turned out to be something I had had on my wishlist for ages...
