I met the coat of my dreams a few days ago.
Oh my goodness I love it so much. It was during a spontaneous trip to Brighton with a dear friend of mine from secondary school. She happens to know the Brighton Laines like the back of her hand (I am not so fortunate) so shopping around that area with her is a brilliant experience. We started in Bond Street where I spied the 'Collectif Clothing' shop sign.
I have known and loved this brand for a while now but have never had the chance to visit one of their shops. Naturally I made a beeline for it and once inside felt a sense of adoration wash over me. Am I being dramatic? Probably. But am I also telling the truth? 100%.

I had already seen the coat on Instagram and also on the home page of their website, I knew I had to try it on! It proved to be a powerful coat as I was instantly transformed into a Hollywood movie star. All I needed was some pearls and high heels. I spotted so many things in the shop that I wanted, not just the Pearl Coat. I thought that the fit and style of this jumper (above) was very flattering. The fact that it was very cosy was a plus!
Three things in total made their way onto my wishlist that day. The third was another gorgeous coat, not quite so striking as the Pearl Coat but lovely and glamorous nonetheless. I didn't take a full length photo of it but in the photo below you can see how snug and luxurious the white fur collar is.
All in all, these are quite the motivation I needed to start saving up! Just give me a little while and these beauties will be hanging happily in my wardrobe.
